Become a Rogue Dog Champion.

Our work at Rogue Detection Teams is two-fold: We turn rescue dogs into conservation superheroes who contribute to important wildlife work around the world.

We often receive inquiries from our Rogue Dog fans who share our love for conservation, rescue dogs, and native wildlife species and are interested in helping our mission.

One of our most important commitments to our working dogs, both active and retired, is lifetime veterinary care. We typically care for 10-14 dogs throughout the year. If you would like to join us in this care, become a Rogue Dog Champion!

For more information about how you can champion our work, contact us at contact@roguedogs.org.

Please note: We are not a nonprofit organization. Although we operate like a nonprofit – we work together for the common good of wildlife, ecosystems, and shelter dogs – any financial support is not considered a tax-deductible contribution. If this is desired, we offer a few suggestions below for some incredible nonprofit organizations that will gratefully accept your financial donations. We've had the privilege to work with these organizations or adopted a few canines from them!

SAVE VIETNAM’S WILDLIFE

Bounder Jennifer Hartman and detection dog Athena worked with Save Vietnam’s Wildlife on pangolin research, and experienced firsthand SVW's commitment to wildlife, conservation, education outreach, and community capacity building.

TRENCA

A fantastic conservation organization in Spain conducting valuable wildlife work on species as diverse as vultures to endangered tortoises. They have a small detection dog program, EccoTrenca. We have visited their team and are in awe of their commitment to preserving both culture and biodiversity within Spain.

UNITED ANIMAL FRIENDS

We adopted one of our detection dogs, Pips, from United Animal Friends, and absolutely love and appreciate everything they do to find and place animals in their forever homes. We are forever grateful they introduced us to Pips!

PACIFIC NORTHWEST CATTLE DOG RESCUE

We love what Pacific Northwest Cattle Dog Rescue does for misunderstood cattle dogs, helping them to find their best placements. Three of our Rogue Dogs have been adopted from PNCDR: Willow, Indy, and Jekyll!

BAT CONSERVATION INTERNATIONAL

We've had the delight to partner with Bat Conservation International for two projects and supporting their mission to help "conserve the world’s bats and their ecosystems to ensure a healthy planet."

Hawaii Island Humane Society

Hawaii Island Humane Society is a non-profit animal welfare organization that offers lifesaving programs and community outreach services. Their mission is to prevent cruelty to animals, eliminate pet overpopulation, and enhance the bond between humans and animals. Established in 1965, their organization serves Hawaii Island's community with shelters in Keaau and our new Animal Community Center in Kona. Rogue dog Crash was adopted from HIHS and is working locally on O’ahu!
